Thrifting became a novelty and a necessity around the summer of 2017. I decided to pack light for an annual Wisconsin family visit. In an effort to schlep less through the airports and to plan for some fun Midwest entertainment, I only packed the necessities and bought my vacation wardrobe at secondhand stores.
The tradition stuck, and although I’m not a full time thrifter yet, I enjoy finding amazing pieces at dirt-cheap prices. The clothing may have had a former life, but I have learned to appreciate them now (until I pass them along again).
When I enjoy my outfit, I enjoy my day. When it’s a thrift treasure, it’s even better.
