Favorite Recent Purchases July 2022

Summer is definitely not over yet for students and educators who are on a traditional school year calendar. Have you seen any Back to School aisles or ads pop up yet lately? Is it a yay for you, or more of a groan and eye roll? Here are 3 favorites that purchased during this in-between time.

Ultra Lightweight Camp Chairs

July is still a time to sit around outdoors. My favorite camp chairs are super compact and easy to set up and they have a comfy reclining design that contours to your rear end. They sit low to the ground and they’re great for adults and kids. I love nestling those little ones in there. They pack up really easily and don’t take up much space at all.

Koukko Travel Laptop Backpack

This backpack has quickly become one of my favorite all-around travel companions. It holds A LOT and it’s super comfortable to wear because the straps and backing are padded. There’s also a padded pocket for a full sized laptop or device and several roomy and deep internal pockets. I’ve used it for many car road trips, as our compact SUV needs some space saving options. It was also my teacher bag for a while, and most currently use it to transport podcasting gear.

Mr. Sketch Markers

Mr. Sketch scented markers are a classic comfort item school supply that I get excited about when I have to kick off a new year. They are a throwback to childhood. The traditional chisel tip is very forgiving when the goal is to make a bright bold design. Classic scents bring on some nostalgia, and some of the new whacky limited editions are fun too. Nacho Cheese and Buttery Popcorn really grew on me.

Happy shopping for the remainder of summer, even if those tricky Back to School aisles make you feel a certain way.
